On behalf of our Trust, I wish to thank everyone for their wonderful support. As a very small charity I feel that we have been achieving well above expectations. It is only possible because we have the support of some truly caring and compassionate donors who trust the integrity of our decisions.

This has been what has happened over many, many years now and we feel great awe at how wonderfully supportive and generous open and caring human hearts can be. Support for those in need

• Our appeal brought a wonderful response to support two Palestinian families to be evacuated to Egypt for the urgent medical attention of a young babe with shrapnel embedded in its brain and the mother left badly injured after their home was bombed. Omar, the social worker and his wife, a nurse, were to accompany them but sadly, Israel has continued closure of the border preventing them from reaching Egypt.

• Omar reports – I want to clarify the situation regarding our potential evacuation. We were informed by the World Health Organization that Israel has suspended medical evacuations from Gaza to Egypt. Our coordination was specifically for travel to Egypt, so we are currently in limbo, waiting for updates. To everyone who has already donated to help us cover travel costs thank you from the bottom of my heart. I still have the funds safely kept, but unfortunately, I had to use a small part of them to meet urgent needs: food, medication, and basic supplies.
